Mission Accomplished

Eight years after George Bush strutted onto an aircraft carrier, positioned for public relations efforts just outside of San Diego, the U.S. can finally, more truly claim "Mission Accomplished" with the death of Osama Bin Laden.

It is ironic that Bush celebrated the end of major combat operations in Iraq while President Obama marked the killing and capture of the person who actually attacked the United States. But then Sen. John Kerry had to remind Bush in a 2004 debate that it wasn't Saddam Hussein but Bin Laden that attacked the U.S.

George Bush left a host of problems, from economic to multiple wars, and it has taken time for President Obama to right the ship, but it appears that he is doing so.
